On The Road Again

Phew! We are the Traveling Halter Troop once more. I truly have to say how blessed we were to end up where we did. I found out that there are some rather scary RV parks in the area and to break down in front of this one was amazing. As Ryan will tell you, it was an unbelievable stroke of luck for him and Kylie!

We are on our way to Pigeon Forge but only get to enjoy 2 nights there before we get back on track to Charleston. The drive is beautiful. Tennessee is a very pretty state, not to mention all the fabulous Fall color!

The new truck is amazing. We said goodbye to Big Tex and hello to Bigger Tex! It's windy out but this rig pulls like a dream. It's much smoother (no more exploding sodas - 2 on the first leg of the trip!) and quieter too. He certainly won't make it in the Boulder parking garage with the fancy lights up top. The bed is quite a bit longer which will be great for bringing along extra stuff. However, we will be parking out in "no man's land" from now on - its a whole lotta truck to park!

It is with great sadness that we had to separate Carmin and Karen. The dash is not hula girl friendly so Karen is now doing the hula in Kylie's room. Really, it's better for her as the truck is so smooth she wouldn't have gotten much of a workout. Poor Carmin is stuck in a drink holder.
