I am starting to hate snow.

We are STILL in Santa Fe.  The day we were going to leave it snowed a foot. Kylie and I got to skip schoolwork and play in the snow.  We made two snow forts and had a snowball fight.  We used Huge blocks of snow as snowballs.  Dad came out and joined the fight. He got us a lot of times and I got him once on the face when he wasn't looking!  We had so much fun!  But the fact that we couldn't get home until the day before thanksgiving canceled out the fun.  I am homesick.

Curse You Snow!

Yesterday we could notleave because the roads were too dangerous.  This morning we could not leave because the roads were too dangerous.  Tomarrow we probably will not leave because the roads will most likely be dangerous.  The only good thing that came from the cold weather is the snow.  Kylie and I got to have a snowball fight (and Noah was on my team).  Kylie made a snow angel and I made a huge snowball.  For dinner we went out to a paella restaurant.  I had an amazing steak, and for dessert we all had hot chocolate and churros!

Two Days From Home (If It Doesn't Snow)

Yesterday we arrived at the Grand Canyon around four pm.  It was going to snow the next day, so we decided to try to beat the weather and leave early the next morning.  I never got to see the Grand Canyon in person.  I did get to watch a video about it though.  This morning we got up and left around ten am.  We only stopped to fuel up and get lunch.  We drove another four hours untill we got to Santa Fe.  It was getting late so I didn't have to do schoolwork.  We went out to a sushi place (the same one that we visited twice before) for dinner.  Then we went on a mission trying to find a Dairy Queen.  We finally found one in a mall.

Travel plan-  If it doesn't snow to much, we will get up early and head to Amarillo tomorrow.  Then the next day we will head home to Dallas  We will stay at home for six weeks, then we will go to New Zealand again!

Viva Las Vegas

Two days ago we arrived at Las Vegas. We got to the RV park late so mom let us skip schoolwork. We are staying at the Circus Circus RV park. The next day we went next door to the Circus Circus hotel and casino. We played lots of the games and Kylie won a stuffed animal. She also got enough tickets to get a real lava lamp. We also got to see acrobats! Yesterday we checked into our hotel room in the Wynn (the Wynn gave us a free hotel room). We are only going to sleep there one night and just use it as a hangout. Mom, dad, and Kylie all went out to a fancy dinner while I stayed in the hotel room, got room service, and played my favorite video game, Roblox. We all had so much fun!

Sea World

Two days ago we went to Sea World.  We went on both roller coasters, and we saw everything except the penguins.  We also went on most of the rides.  Kylie and I also got to play with dolphins and feed manta rays fish.  We saw three different shows.  #1- The Clide and Seymore show (a sea lion show), #2- A dolphin show (I forgot the name), and the Shamoo show (the show with the killer whales).  In the dolphin show we sat in the splash zone and did not get splashed?!  It was a cold day so we were surprised to see most of the splash zone seats filled up.  After the dolphins actually splashed people, we saw lots of foreigners walk to the back rows that were mad and soaked. In the Shamoo show we saw a baby killer whale!  Today we went into downtown San Diego area for dinner.  On the way back from dinner we saw a flash mob with the song "What Does The Fox Say" playing.  They were all dressed up too!  It was hilarious!

Lego Land

Today dad, Kylie, and I all went to Lego Land.  Mom wanted to stay home and have an alone day.  When we first got there we did a boat ride.  We also saw the biggest Lego model in the world!  It was a Star Wars fighter that was made out of 5,335,200 Lego bricks.  Then we did two small Lego roller coasters.  Lunchtime was near so we stopped for food.  We then went to see all of Mini-town (that's where all of the Lego models are).  Dad got us some of Lego Land's famous apple fries to try, and they were delicious!  Then we got to build with Legos for the next hour.  I made a huge plane!  Dad let us spend $20 at the Lego shop, so I got a new Lego racing boat!  Today was fun!

The Zoo

     Yesterday we got to go to the famous San Diego Zoo.  We only had time to see  some of the zoo, and dad got us back-stage passes.  We rode the gondola across the zoo to the polar bear area.  They were not doing anything, so we went to look at other things.  We got to see everything except tigers.  We even saw the only baby panda on exhibit in the whole world!  Then we went to the back stage thing.  We got to see a porcupine, a cheetah, a cloud leopard, a serval, a wolf, and even a baby sloth all on stage!  We got to take a picture with most of them too!  Then they let us feed (and pet) a juvenile rhinoceros!  He was very slobbery.  But my favorite thing was feeding flamingos!  We got a cup of soaked dog food and water.  Then we walked into the enclosure and sat down.  The flamingos came right up to us, put their heads in the cups, and filtered out the food.  It was extremely cool!
