Harassment of the Ostriches by Ryan

Today we did our usual homework and went to the drive-through wildlife park. It is not the native wildlife that live in the wild around there it is animals from around the world. So it is a drive-through park where animals are not in cages, they were roaming free in a open field. It was really cool! We bought some feed and decided to ride in the bed of the truck. We went through the gate and the first thing I saw was an ostrich coming right at us! Before it got there we managed to feed some deer. When it did reach us we all spazzed out. It was reaching it's head into the bed of the truck and looked around. Eventually we found out it was not going to hurt us and it was just looking for food. We held out the bucket to him and I thought a bomb went off because when he pecked at the feed it went everywhere. It was pretty funny. After we lost the ostrich we went around the field and saw lots of animals. Some camels harassed us too! We also saw a giraffe with a long tongue that loves carrots. It was cool.
