Fishing!

Yesterday we did schoolwork all morning until lunchtime. Then dad, Kylie, and I all got in the car and drove forty minutes (after stopping for lunch) to the shore. We were going bottom fishing! The boat was an old Hatteras style fishing boat. There were five other people in the boat besides us. The fish we were looking for were snapper. Everyone had a fishing pole (including Kylie). The crew put bait on our hooks, then we would let the line go, so it would sink. When it hit the bottom we would reel it up a little bit, then we waited. We caught at least twenty small ones that we could not keep and about twelve that we could. Kylie got to catch a LOT of small ones and one keeper! We fished for four hours long. Kylie did not complain at all, my dad was really happy with her. I am afraid I might have lost my fishing partner!
