Editor's note: Hmmmm, I don't know what to say about the artist's rendering of myself or my technique at waking her up! I don't exactly see it the same way....on either accounts!!!!! I will have to try using the jazz hands tomorrow morning though!

Last Night

I got up and did schoolwork for an hour this morning. We packed up and left around eleven. We didn't stop for lunch until one. On the way there we saw a plane crop-dusting a field. It was flying so low!
We arrived at our campground around three and I did schoolwork for another hour. After dinner Kylie and I watched a movie in her room. For dessert Mom made her delicious, amazing, mouth watering, awesome, banana foster. It was delicious!!!

Friends

Yesterday we went to dad's old college roommate's house in Atlanta, Georgia. They had two boys my age that I hung out with most of the night. We had lots of fun playing on their trampoline and roasting marshmallows. Kylie had fun playing with their new kitten. Dad and mom had fun hanging out with Mr. Monne (dad's college roommate) and Mrs. Monne. We all had fun!

This morning we got up early and got on the road at nine A.M. We drove for three hours then stopped for lunch. Then we drove four hours until we arrived at the campground in Vicksburg Mississippi. As soon as we arrived I discovered that they had great wifi. I played Roblox until dinner (pizza). I had fun.

Kylie Day 23 - actually 24

Moving On

This morning we all got up early to pack. We had a five and a half hour drive ahead of us. We stopped at one o'clock to have lunch at a truck stop. We were surprised when two semis pulled up next to us carrying two army tank-trucks. They were more like tanks but only had turrets on top. They were not antiques and are presently being used. They looked so cool! When we arrived at the rv park I got out and made a stick fort. I also helped Kylie make a swing right outside our rv using a jump rope. We had a blast! We had spaghetti for dinner and mom made me banana foster again. I also got to play Roblox a lot. Today was fun!

Last Day

I woke up disappointed because I realized that today was our last day in Charleston. Then I became happy again because I got to go crabbing with dad for one last time. We went from nine thirty in the morning to three in the afternoon. We caught lots of crabs but only two were big enough to keep. We met some people that we sold the crabs to. When we got home I put out our dog treat sign and we sold sixteen treats. Mom made a couple of her wraps for dad and her for dinner and I had BBQ.

The Market

As soon as I got up I did schoolwork. Before lunch I got to have recess (which I haven't had in a long time). I played Roblox and I remembered how much fun it is. At three we went into Downtown Charleston. We went through the market and Kylie got a new stuffed animal that she named Catrina. We walked around a long time looking at stores. For dinner we went back to the sushi restaurant that we went to two nights ago. Mom and dad loved the sushi (again) and Kylie and I loved the kid's bento boxes (again). After dinner we went to a place that only serves dessert. I had a delicious apple pie.

Kylie's Healthy Dog Treats

I woke up the same time as yesterday to do some schoolwork before dad and I went crabbing. We stayed from nine thirty to one thirty and caught three crabs. When we finished we went home and I had to get the rest of my schoolwork done. At three we went to the dog park to sell Kylie's Healthy Dog Treats that she and mom made. Most dogs liked them but some (picky ones) didn't. I was the salesman and the change man. At the end we sold twenty treats and earned ten dollars. Kylie and I split the money. When we sold everything we went home and had dinner. After dinner mom made me Banana Foster and we watched another James bond movie.

Crabbing

This morning I got up at seven thirty to do schoolwork. At ten dad and I left to go crabbing. I cannot go two days without crabbing. We put the pots in the water and went back into the truck because it was so cold. Thirty minutes later we checked the traps and caught two crabs in almost every trap. four of them were big enough to keep. Of course we didn't catch any more keepers for the rest of the day. Later we went back to the rv and I did the rest of my schoolwork.

When I finished we went to a sushi place for dinner. I had teriyaki chicken, french fries, fresh fruit, and steamed rice. The food was delicious!

Strawberry Festival

This morning I woke up around seven. It was raining most of the morning so I just stayed in bed. At nine it finally stopped raining, so dad and I went to the crabbing dock. We spent three hours there and caught two huge blue crabs. When we finished we all went to the local Strawberry Festival. It was basically a small fair with rides and games. The best part was that everyone got to pick fresh strawberries, but the strawberry fields were to muddy from the rain. We didn't get to pick strawberries but we still rode lots of rides and I helped win a huge blowfish ball for Kylie. We had lots of fun! When we got home we had dinner, and watched a James Bond (Sean Connery) movie.

Kylie Day 17

Kayak

This morning we got up and did schoolwork. When I finished (around three) dad took me to the kayak festival that was in the park (the rv park is inside a county park). We are looking for kayaks for our new summer home in Jackson, Wyoming. Kylie and dad want a tandem river kayak and dad also wants a fishing kayak. Mom and I both want a twelve foot river kayak. We didn't buy any but we found some that we liked.

For dinner we went to a fancy restaurant. A really fancy restaurant! It is an old storage warehouse (built in the 1800) that has been remodeled. Kylie got chicken and mashed potatoes. I got shrimp and fried mac & cheese (but dad ate most of the fried mac & cheese). The food was delicious! On the way home it started pouring rain.
