After 3 weeks we have headed out for our long trip of the summer. It started out as a bit of a déjà vu situation. Tim had a run-in with a rogue tree branch in our driveway. Bent up the ladder and tore the roof a bit but at least this time it's on the side and not the top. The difference with this trip is that I am following him instead of being co-pilot. I got a front row seat of the tree fight. Kylie, Mousse and I are in my car. Tim and Ryan are driving the big rig.
We made it to 99 degree Amarillo and head for Ssnta Fe tomorrow. The kids and I are on a much needed break from school for the next week! We are all very excited!
Tim has taken the kids to The Big Texan here in Amarillo. They will have lots to report on the excitement there - 2 contestants for the 72 ounce steak! One is a 14 year old! Hopefully no one will be scarred for life - Ryan is making Monty Python Meaning of Life Jokes. Oh such memories!!!! Good times :)
