Sandy Sand Dunes

   Yesterday we arrived at the sand dunes.  This morning we woke up and were planing to go to the dunes around nine and nine thirty.  We didn't head out until ten thirty because it was so cold.  When we got there we had to cross a river (it was only a couple inches deep the whole time) to get to the sand dunes.  Kylie and mom got a free piggy-back ride from dad and I had to walk.  When we crossed the river we started to notice that it was gradually getting windier and windier.  We played in the dunes but the whole time we were being blasted by sand.  It even started to hurt, bad!  We still had some fun though.
