San Diego

Yesterday we got the RV packed up again and headed to San Diego.  The RV park here is the biggest one we have ever been to.  It has two pools and two hot tubs, and it can house about 500 RVs.  We got an RV site next to the dog park (which makes my job MUCH easier).  The bad part is that we hear a lot of dogs bark through the day and night.  For one of Kylies school activities she (and my mom) got to make brownies from scratch.  Once we got our schoolwork out of the way, we got to go swimming.  To make it even more fun, mom brought us the homemade brownies.  Then we went out for sushi.  Today was really fun!  My dad just told me that Lupe has been clearing out the woods back home in Texas.  He is taking out all of the underbrush, and when he moves on Jason and Diego move in and make forts out of all of the sticks and logs.  They are making forts everywhere!  I can't wait to get home!

Disney Land

For the past three days we have been having fun in Disney Land.  Disney Land was not at all like I thought it would be.  It is like a replica of Disney Wolrld that is a little smaller.  We have gone on all of the fun rides and we also went to the next door theme park, the California Adventure.  My favorite ride was the roller coaster in the Calfornia Adventure park.  Kylie had two favorites, Space Mountain and the Grizzly River Run (a log ride).  My dad's favorite ride was the Tower Of Terror.  My mom also had two favorites, the Haunted Mansion and Midway Mania.  Midway Mania is a Toy Story type video game ride that you shoot at different objects.  Kylie had her birthday yesterday, so she spent her birthday money at the lego store in downtown Disney.  She also got to choose her cake and open presents.  She had a blast!

Ronald Reagan (written Nov 4)

Today we went on a field trip to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library! Ronald Reagan is one of my dad's heroes in life, so my dad was very happy to be able to go there. We got to see many things that involved Mr. Reagan, and I learned a LOT. One thing I learned was that when the country was loosing hope Ronald Reagan ran for president and won by a landslide! He turned our country around, from despair to prosperity. Another thing I learned was that Ronald Reagan was shot in an assignation attempt and lived. While he was in the hospital he told jokes to the doctors right before he was operated on! He said to the Doctors "I hope you are all Republicans." He almost died in the hospital too! We also got to see his Air Force 1. It is a Boeing 707 that can seat 52 passengers. It was used for 7 presidents! I had so much fun! Then mom came home after dinner.

Train Ride

Today I got to play Roblox in the morning. Then at nine thirty we went to the Amtrak station. We were going to ride a passenger train! It pulled into the station with a screeching stop. The train was a two story silver one. It even had a restaurant! Dad got us business class tickets. The train ride was next to the ocean most of the time. The view was amazing! At the end we went through the mountains. The only catch was that dad made us do schoolwork most of the time. We rode on the train for two hours to a small island. Then we got out for a little bit and got ice cream. We then got back on and rode it back to Santa Barbra. I had so much fun!
